of furniture in 2011
The most common
query asked in our stores relates to predicting current furniture trends
and future innovations and styles. Last year was very popular for glass
furniture particularly glass dining tables and chairs in traditional
clear glass, black glass, white glass and frosted glass. However the
launch of red glass was controversial with furniture retailers and
interior designers split in opinion over demand for such a striking and
vibrant statement in the dining room.
Sales of red glass
dining sets surpassed all expectations, particularly for those who
cleverly combined subtle hints of red and introduced complimenting
colours such as high gloss black kitchen door cabinets combined with
black chairs. Alternatively high gloss white kitchen cabinets
complimented white chairs with red sets, although an array of colour
options are possible.
